An Aspect Color accurately replaces the problematic genuine Cassel Earth pigment (also known as Van Dyke Brown) which caused sagging in several historical paintings. This was due to its problem with drying due to its peat content in the natural pigment NBr8. You can use Van Dyke Brown throughout your painting. It is fairly quick drying, unlike the genuine pigment that would necessitate the addition or a drier.
